Each year we launch Festival of Sail with the Parade of Sail. Sail aboard select tallships and see the San Salvador under sail! San Salvador opens her gangway to the public for Festival of Sail, be one of the first to walk aboard this magnificent galleon. Join in on a thrilling Cannon Battle, Bay Cruise, Swift Boat runs, Mid-day, and Twilight sails. See visiting ships and much much more coming this Labor Day weekend!

About the Maritime Museum of San Diego

The Maritime Museum of San Diego enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in restoring, maintaining and operating historic vessels. The museum has one of the world’s finest collections of historic ships, including the world’s oldest active ship Star of India. Our collection of ships and exhibits are available for daily public tours.

Summer hours are now in effect. Open 9am to 9pm daily.
