Parade of Lights Viewing Dinner Tickets

Online ticket sales have ended for Parade of Lights 2016. Museum is open for general admission, view the parade from many great access points. Full bar is available on the floating pier behind the Berkeley Ferry Boat.

Our annual fundraiser is held aboard the Berkeley steam ferry. Complete with dinner and is a spectacular platform for viewing the Parade of Lights on the bay.

2016 Parade Theme: San Diego Zoo Celebrates 100 Years.

Since the *Berkeley is the judging platform for the Parade of Lights awards, this event is typically a sell-out and its popularity has grown over the years. It is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with friends and family, while supporting the Maritime Museum of San Diego.

Two nights, Sunday December 11 & Sunday December 18, 2016

  • Tables seat 8, smaller parties share a table.
  • Seating assigned upon your arrival (large groups, we suggest calling ahead for seating).

Hours 9am to 8pm. Your ticket is good for all day, you can leave for lunch and come back to keep exploring.

**At times one or more ships may be off exhibit due to maintenance or special events. You may want to call ahead if there is a particular ship you wanted to explore.


Tall Ship Adventure Sail Tickets
 

Tall Ship Adventure aboard Californian*

Tall Ship Adventure Sail is a three-hour adventure history sail aboard the schooner Californian.

Join the crew in sailing a traditionally rigged tall ship. Passengers will be invited to haul a line, man the helm and end their day with a cannon salute.

Sundays, 11:30 to 3:00pm Tickets range, $60.00 to $44.00

  • Check-in ends at 11:30am
  • Sail is 3 hours and returns to the museum at 3pm
  • You can check-in as early as 9am, enjoy the Museum before and/or after your sail. Ticket includes general admission.

Swift Boat Tour Tickets

Swift Boat Tour

75 minute narrated tour aboard a Historic Swift Boat PCF816.

Feel the history & power of the twin 12 cylinder Detroit Diesels as you take a behind the scenes tour of San Diego Bays military history. Tour route heads under Coronado Bay Bridge, Naval Base San Diego, and then Naval Amphibious Base. It then heads back by the aircraft carrier basin and Naval Air Station North Island before returning to the Museum.

Enjoy this unique one of a kind adventure. Two tours daily: Saturday & Sunday.
Tickets range $26 to $10

  • This is a narrated tour describing PCF 816 ‘s role in the U.S., Malta, Viet Nam, Swift Boat sailors, and the above establishments on the Bay.

Aboard The Star of India. Annual event returns to the Maritime Museum of San Diego

Tim Flannery & Friends will perform their colorful blend of folk, country and traditional music and storytelling aboard the Star of India. Some of San Diego’s most popular artists have been known to join Tim Flannery for a special night of music such as Eve Selis and Steve Poltz but you never know who might show up this year.

Saturday December 17, 2016 • Ticket range, $85.00 VIP, $49.00 regular.
