Hours 9am to 8pm. Your ticket is good for all day, you can leave for lunch and come back to keep exploring.

Father’s Day Sail

Make Father’s Day a special one-of-a-kind adventure!

The Maritime Museum of San Diego invites you to a Fathers Day celebration aboard Californian or San Salvador.

Before the sail each adult receives a delicious bratwurst sandwich, chips and a cold beer prior to sailing. Hot dogs and soft drinks are available for the kids.

Food will be served from 10am-11:30am and the 3 hour sailing trip will begin boarding at 11:30 and returns approximately at 3:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to enjoy the museum before and after the sail.

Ticket Range: $90 – $20

Tall Ship Adventure Sail Tickets
 

Tall Ship Adventure aboard Californian

Tall Ship Adventure Sail is a three-hour adventure history sail aboard the schooner Californian.

Join the crew in sailing a traditionally rigged tall ship. Passengers will be invited to haul a line, man the helm and end their day with a cannon salute.

Most Weekends, 11:30 to 3:00pm Tickets range, $62.00 to $44.00

San Salvador Sailing Adventure
 

San Salvador Sailing Adventure

The San Salvador is a replica of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo’s ship that arrived at the port we now call San Diego on September 28, 1542.

These 4 hour Sailing Adventures are for people who love history, and sailing. Very few people have sailed aboard Galleons of the sixteenth century and these day sails will offer the public a chance to be aboard the magnificent galleon, the San Salvador.

A 4 hour sail Weekends, 11:30 to 4:00pm Tickets range, $99.00 to $49.00

Feel the history & power of the twin 12 cylinder Detroit Diesels as you take a behind the scenes tour of San Diego Bays military history. Tour route heads under Coronado Bay Bridge, Naval Base San Diego, and then Naval Amphibious Base. It then heads back by the aircraft carrier basin and Naval Air Station North Island before returning to the Museum.

In partnership with Havana 1920, San Diego’s local trendy and highly popular Gaslamp Quarter eatery and lounge said to channel Hemingway-era Havana, the Maritime Museum will host an unforgettable Rum Runner Night aboard the steam ferryboat Berkeley. Guests will enjoy specialty craft rum cocktails, pick up tips from Havana 1920 celebrity mixologist and GBOD Hospitality Group’s beverage director Ryan Andrews, listen and dance to live music, and imbibe in delicious authentic Cuban cuisine. Space is limited. Cuban restaurant Havana 1920 is located above basement speakeasy Prohibition, reminiscent of 1920s NYC.
