Annual Holiday Waterfront Dinner Includes Front Row Seat to Festive Boat Parade

San Diego, CA – Maritime Museum of San Diego hosts the 2022 Parade of Lights Dinner aboard the elegant Victorian-era 1898 steam ferryboat Berkeley McKinney Deck Sunday, December 11 and 18, 2022. Parade judges will be nested at the Maritime Museum as the brightly decorated boats cruise by Museum fleet located at Star of India Wharf. The procession of boats starts at 5:30 p.m. and will follow a predetermined parade route. The parade route organizers project the parade to pass the north embarcadero and Maritime Museum of San Diego at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Maritime Museum of San Diego has been known for years as the best place on the waterfront to view the annual Parade of Lights on San Diego Bay. Each guest will enjoy a delicious holiday dinner buffet including glazed ham & cranberry- goat cheese stuffed chicken, rice pilaf, balsamic green beans, winter blend salad, rolls & butter, holiday cake, coffee, hot tea & hot chocolate A no-host bar will also be available 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Parade of Lights Dinner tickets are a great value and include the evening activities with dinner and boat parade viewing from the Berkeley only. All other Maritime Museum vessels and waterfront barge will be closed.

Museum general admission self – guided tour tickets are also included in Parade of Lights tickets which may be enjoyed the day of the Parade of Lights Dinner on Sunday, December 11 or 18 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Dinner guest check in as at 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be served 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Parties of eight (8) or more may reserve dedicated tables found on the upper deck of the Berkeley. Parties less than 8 will be seated with other parties for the dinner. Guests will enjoy a scrumptious and festive catered served buffet before relaxing and enjoying the waterfront views as the skies darken and the holiday boat parade preparations unfold. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring a warm jacket or sweater.

Parade of Lights Dinner tickets are $70.00 for adults, seniors 62+, students 13-17 and military. Children 12 and under are $35.00. Maritime Museum of San Diego member tickets are $65.00 for adults, seniors 62+, students 13-17 and military. Museum member children 12 and under dinner tickets are $30.00. Children under 2 are free. The Museum is open daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ticket Booth closes at 4:00 p.m. to general admission ticket holders only.
