Google review

“Both Keke and our captain were amazing. Very informative and funny. Took out my boys 6 and 10 as well as my mother in law. My mother in law has lived in San Diego for over 50 years and learned many things even she was surprised about. Highly recommend adding the boat tour to your museum trip.”

Melissa G. posted on Yelp

You have a great museum. Fortunate enough to have visited from Illinois three times over the past 20 years.

“We opted to add the Swift boat harbor tour once we got there. You MUST add this to your museum tour. You get a 75 minute tour of the harbor mainly focusing on the Navy ships moored down on 32nd Street. The Docent was an old Vietnam Swift boat crewman and is well versed on the history of that boat and anything else at the museum. Ran into this guy 3 different times while in the museum and he just kept giving out information like a walking encyclopedia.”

San Diego City Pass

"This was an amazing museum with so much history. We added this to our San Diego CityPass. We got there at opening and there was no line and no crowd. The adults and kids enjoyed exploring the different ships and learning the history of the old ships and life living in them. Some of these boats are still active boats and events can even be planned on some of them. It’s in a beautiful location right in the heart of San Diego Harbor. We added the harbor tour onto our tickets and were able to take a tour on an old Military boat."

"It was great learning of the history of the Harbor and the boat right from a real Vietnam Navy boat. We even had the Navy wave at us and people waving from the USS Midway. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and nice."

"I highly recommend the Maritime Museum and the added Harbor tour on your San Diego adventure."
