San Diego, CA (November 30, 2017) — Maritime Museum of San Diego, with an international reputation for excellence in restoring, maintaining, and operating historic vessels, announces new day sail adventure dates aboard San Salvador, a replica of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo’s ship that arrived at the port we now call San Diego on September 28, 1542.

These 4-hour Sailing Adventures are for people who love history, and sailing. Very few people have sailed aboard galleons of the sixteenth century and these day sails will offer the public a chance to be aboard the magnificent galleon, San Salvador. No sailing experience required. San Salvador has sailed to Oxnard, Monterey, Morro Bay, Channel Islands, Santa Barbara, and San Pedro as part of her multi-year Pacific Heritage Tour.

This holiday season, treat your family to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Ticket prices range from $49 for children to $99 for adults. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at sdmaritime.org or by calling 619-234-9153 extension 111. Space is limited.
