4th of July Fireworks ViewingEnjoy a BBQ Dinner and spectacular fireworks viewing from the McKinney Deck of the 1898 Berkeley, a national and state historic landmark, or the waterfront barge to the rear of the Berkeley.

Adult BBQ dinners include pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, chips, and cookie. Child BBQ dinners includes hot dog, potato salad, chips, and cookie. Plant-based vegetarian pulled pork or hot dog options will be available upon request. Additional snacks including cookies or chips may be purchased at $5.00 each. Tickets for the dinner must be purchased online in advance. Seating is first come first serve. The Maritime Museum waterfront barge to the rear of the Berkeley will also be available as a firework viewing option.

4th of July BBQ & fireworks viewing entry starts at 7:00 pm, ends after the fireworks show (approx 9:30pm).

The Maritime Museum of San Diego will be open Thursday, July 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for general admission, enjoy exploring our historic ships and exhibits. Last guest entry and ticket sold is 4:00 p.m.

No-host bar available for those 21 and up.

Tickets are $50.00 for adults and $40.00 for children ages 3-12. Children two and under are free (doesn’t include a meal).

  • Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m.
  • Close after the fireworks show, approx 9:30 p.m.

  • Can July 4 firework viewing guests bring in their own blanket or folding chairs? Yes blanket, no chairs.
  • No alcohol may be brought into the Museum.
  • McKinney Deck of the Berkeley & waterfront barge open for fireworks viewing only.
